Pain

Time has come for you to go home
I knew it would even though i felt alone

I knew you wanted me there
So there I stood

As I said good bye
I tried not to cry

When I left so did you
I will always remember the good times with you

I will miss you now that you are gone
I don’t know what I will do without you
Or how I will have any fun

You would never have wanted things this way
People fighting and going crazy
All over you and your passing day

The fights are beginning
No one’s winning
Everyones losing on this sad day

I feel the battle has yet to be won
Why won’t they just give up
And admit they ain’t won

I would also like to share a poem my son Cue_Ball wrote for his grandmother while she lay dying in the hospital. [...]
