Lost Paradise

The world is breaking
His heart is aching

He sheds another tear
For all those not near

As his children die
He sits and he cries

For they don’t know
Of all his woe.

They sit in the dark
Breaking his poor heart

Satan has them in his hands
Stringing them along in his deadly little band

They sit there and baa like stupid little sheep
“Yes dear Satan we are at your feet

Do with us what you may
All we want to do is sit in the hay”

For this reason God is so sad
That his beautiful flock could be so bad

When all is said and done
Which way will you go
Do you want the end that is fun?
Or will you be a martyr and on the run?

Which ever way you choose to go
I hope you know God loves you so.
